Ah, Christmas.

Ah, Christmas.  I love it.  I love the spirit, the atmosphere of the Christmas season.  Not to mention the beautiful decorations.

Things I love about Christmas:
  1. Jesus, of course.
  2. The Christmas lights!  Oh my goodness, Christmas light are so gorgeous!
  3. The spirit of the whole thing.  Come on... you have to admit that everyone is a little bit cheerier during this time of the year.
  4. The food.  Yum!
  5. Paper snowflakes.  So pretty.  Not real ones... those are too cold!
Things I don't  love about Christmas:
  1. The music.  It's good for about a week, but then after that, it's just too repetitive.  Jingle Bells  and Rocking Around the Christmas Tree over and over and over.  Drives me crazy!
  2. The cold.  As one of my friends put it, "Christmas should be in July."
I know, I know.  I'm crazy for not absolutely loving everything about Christmas.  Oh well.  It's still an awesome time of the year.  It's very thought provoking too, you know?  This is the time of the year when we ponder Jesus' birth.  How He came into the world as a human--as a little baby!  How He was born of a virgin (can you imagine what Mary went through?).  How he lived a sinless life, then saved us from death.
Ah, Jesus.  As much as I love Christmas, I love You more.

Hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas season.  And remember: Jesus is the reason for the season!

P.S. Here's a little something to make you laugh. :)  I love Kid History!
